Comments

The most abundant cardinalfish in Hong Kong (Ref. 128523). Reported from Sharp Island, Hoi Ha Wan, and Tung Ping Chau (Ref. 94637). Also reported from Cape D'Aguilar and Yan Chau Tong (Ref. 129329). The species was observed on 11 to 100 occasions during 400 dive surveys on artificial reefs (Ref. 119494). Sold in live fish markets. Caught using traps (Ref. 125552). Also Ref. 119714, 125586.
